Two Chairs III

This oil painting is the last piece in the artist’s extended abstract study of two chairs.  It depicts two mahogany chippendale dining room chairs.  Each chair once lived in the Vanderbilt’s Breakers mansion in Newport, RI.  The chairs were a gift to my great grandmother and were passed down to me through her daughter, and subsequently my mother.
