Starting on the Via Dolorosa

I created this piece when I was in a prolonged period of intense physical pain resulting from untreatable medical conditions.  As a result, I identified closely with Jesus’ own “sorrowful way” from the place of his condemnation to death by Pontius Pilate to Golgotha, where he was crucified.
