Sacred Head of Christ

I created this piece when I was a senior in high school. As a young girl raised in the Catholic faith, I was moved by images of Christ’s suffering and redemption. I was fortunate to have a wonderful private art teacher who encouraged me to create art that explored themes like death, transformation, and redemption. I continued to explore these themes throughout my career as an artist.
