Celebrating the Virgin of Guadalupe

This piece focuses on the power of Mary, the mother of Jesus.  Our Lady of Guadalupe (in Spanish, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe, is a Catholic reference to a series of five Marian apparitions that appeared to two Mexican peasants. These apparitions are believed to have occurred in December 1531, when the Mexican territories were controlled by the Spanish Empire.
